Today the international event at Donaueschingen started with a national Intermediaire II.
Also the German weather is very much like autumn - gray and rainy.
Germany´s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl is back in competition shape after giving birth to a baby boy mid August. Not surprisingly she looked sharp as alway. For today´s national Inter II victory she rode the 10 year old Trakehner mare Dalera BB by Easy Game / Hohenstein.
Last year Jessica just showed Dalera one time at international small tour in August at Lamprechtshausen, and the mare is now getting ready for the big tour via today´s national Inter II at Donaueschingen.
Dalera is a long legged expressive mare which moves with nice supple elasticity in the trot tour, in a nice natural closed frame. Nice expression and clear bouncy regular passage, good transitions in and out from a good, bit forward piaffe (which is allowed for the Inter II level). Good extended walk where today´s collected walk becomes a bit unbalanced. After the first medium canter at the diagonal the subsequent change becomes with parallel hindlegs. Both canter pirouettes are a bit big, but with nice energy and angle. Clear two times, while there a two errors for the one times. Final score winning score 72.500%.
Result for the entire class here.
