Never before has the Danish Warmblood breeding committee been presented with such an outstanding collection of stallions. 33 stallions have been approved for testing, and 12 of them appointed premium stallions. The event in Herning attracted 67,211 visitors
The Danish Warmblood Stalllion Licensing in Herning is becoming well-known as the European grand finale as many of the best young stallions at the North European stallion licensings are purchased by Danish stallion keepers and presented in Herning together with the best of the Danish bred stallions.
This has definitely been the case in Herning this year, and more 3-year old stallions than ever were approved for testing. 10 show jumping stallions and 23 dressage stallions make a total of 33, and 12 of the approved stallions were appointed premium stallions.
Late Sunday afternoon the approved stallions are inspected to begin their 10-day test in order to be able to serve the mares.
