Early start of a busy day starting with 6 year old preliminary qualifier. First to go was Zum Glück RS2 OLD with Robin van Lierop - overall easy and effortless test with quality all the way.
Zum Glück RS2 OLD 🇳🇱 Robin van Lierop - nice flow for the trot tour with good expression, lack bit more power from behind, very nice walk tour with good relaxation and over track, easy and effortless canter tour in a very nice uphill well balanced frame, only small thing was a bit stocked transition to trot at F.
Danish combinations
Another strong performance from Andreas Helgstrand this time for Denmark, with Danish Warmblood gelding Zhaplin Langholt owned by Charlotte Jorst. The best 6 year old Danish bred horse, and he proved already his top qualities as a 5 year old winning Danish Warmblood Young Horse championship.
“I was very satisfied with our performance today, Zhaplin felt a bit impressed about the surroundings today, but he gives you an incredible feeling and he has so much power - we are hopefully ready for the final”, said Helgstrand after his test.
Zhaplin Langholt 🇩🇰 / Andreas Helgstrand - good halt, nice diagonal, small canter for 1st half circle turn, super expressive trot tour, nice flow and go, 1st half pass bit unbalanced 1st half pass, better half pass to right, power diagonal, super halt small disturb good rein back, bit looking for the walk tour, lacking a bit more contact on the rein for the walk tour, good 1st change, super 2nd change, super quality of the canter tour, good halt.
Baunehøjens Carpaccio 🇩🇰 Anette Ejlersgaard - bit big eyes at centerline, good trot tour with good rhythm, bit big eyes along the side of the arena, open halt with tense rein back, walk need more relaxation and over the back need to search the rein more for the extended walk, canter becomes a bit cautious, bit small 1st change, super nice change for right, good transition to trot.
