Verden. The auction horses of the 137th Elite Auction of the Hannoveraner Verband have moved into their boxes on the premises of the Niedersachsenhalle. 43 dressage and 24 jumping horses will be available at the auction on Saturday, October 10. The exquisite selection will be complemented by 21 foals and two-and-a-half-year-old sport colts. The presentations will take place in Verden with a limited number of spectators, the auction will then run as an online auction.
The head number one of the Verden Elite Auction will be presented in an impressive way: Favourite Boy, a son of the Grand Prix successful sire Floriscount, is shown by the Lower Saxony State Stud Celle and was bred by Edda and Friedrich Kröner, Schüttdorf. The collection of jumping horses starts with head number three Cornflake PJ by Carridam/Loredo (breeder and exhibitor: Pferdezucht Dr. Jacobs GbR, Bierbergen). This licensed four-year-old stallion has already won several jumping competitions.
The collection of 43 dressage and 24 jumping horses is complemented by 21 foals with top pedigrees. The collection is rounded off for the fourth time by a small group of two-and-a-half year old colts. These sport aspirants were selected during the preselection for the licensing.
The presentations will take place on 4, 7 and 9 October with a limited number of spectators. The presentations will also be broadcasted via livestream on the Internet. The auction will take place online. The gala evening has been cancelled due to the corona situation.
Already from Sunday, 4 October, it will be possible to bid online for your personal favourites. The final phase of the online auction, the so-called Bid Up, for the riding horses will start on Saturday, 10 October, at 2 pm CET. The foals and colts will follow at 6 pm CET.
