It´s not easy being non German for the final at Deutsche Bank Stadium
You were not in doubt that Werth was back in “her arena”.
Taking her 14th Aachen Grossen Preis title - this time with DSP Quantas.
Placed 3rd
Charlotte Fry / Dark Legend GBR - Bit tense halt, passage half passes, piaffe turn, power diagonal, super piaffe at A with turn, super trot half passes, super passage, good walk tour, bit tense before transition to canter, canter half pass to pirouette continue with half pass, super change in the music for pirouettes, power extension at diagonal, 2 times on slightly curved track, super double pirouette, two time to one times with error (jokerline) nice 1 times to double pirouette, power extension to piaffe turn at centerline.
Overall power test but showing some minor tension throughout the test.
Placed 4th
Fiontini / Patrik Kittel SWE - Good halt, WOW super piaffe/passage start, expressive diagonal supple, half pass to half pass passage, tiny lost of impulse for piaffe turn, half pass passage to trot half pass, super extension, nice passage, super walk tour, lacking bit canter first turn for pirouette, error 2 times, nice extension, lack more sit and control for 1,5 pirouette, nice 1 times, good canter half passes, active piaffe turn, super passage at final centerline towards super halt.
In a very short time Kittel has really built up a serious partnership with Danish Warmblood top mare Fiontini. And for the fans it might be a short partnership as Fiontini presumably will change ownership before next years World Championships in Herning.
Enjoy one of the big memories from Fiontini being tested by Charlotte Dujardin at Danish Warmblood Young Horse Championships back in 2015 🌟
