ANCCE announces the creation of a PRE Prix St Georges and Grand Prix team. This newest project places the spotlight on Purebred Spanish Horse competing at these levels. With this initiative, ANCCE reinforces its commitment with adult horses in this discipline to provide them a platform for the growth of pairs seeking excellence at national and international levels.
This team brings together the most competitive pairs at the Prix St Georges and Grand Prix levels to represent PRE Horses at international competitions. Horses will be selected by the Selection Committee, that will assess the pairs at International Dressage Competitions (CDI) both within Spain’s borders and abroad.
Summons and Selection Process
The ANCCE Selection Committee will review and follow the pairs participating at international competitions between January first and June fifteenth of this year 2025. The results throughout this period will be pivotal when selecting the members of the aforementioned team.
Economic Support and International Participation
The main novelty is that as of September of this year, the selected pairs will have access to economic aid ranging between €1000 and €1500 to compete internationally at CDIs. The exact amount will depend on the number of pairs included on the team. This aid is granted to the owner of the horse selected.
The Selection Committee is fully independent to assign the places. Thus, it is possible that there be vacancies, depending on the candidate’s level. Likewise, the number of places has not been fixed so that only the most outstanding pairs become members of the team.
Selection Requirements
To seek a place on the ANCCE PRE Team, the pair must comply with the following requirements:
- Present the results earned at national and international CDIs.
- Sign a Commitment Agreement with the team.
- Have official veterinarian certification.
- Follow the planning established by the Trainer.
Expenses and Financing
Expenses for travel, accommodations and participation at international competitions is covered by each individual pair selected.
